The Corvallis Gazette-Times is a daily newspaper based in Corvallis, Oregon, serving Corvallis and Benton County. It is Corvallis’s primary newspaper.
Created in 1909 by the merger of The Corvallis Gazette (established 1863) and The Corvallis Times (established 1888), the Gazette-Times published its first daily edition on May 1, 1909. For more than a century it has covered local government, Oregon State University, schools, business, and community life across Benton County.
The newspaper is owned by Iowa-based Lee Enterprises, which acquired it on October 1, 1969, and maintains its offices in Corvallis, Oregon. It publishes a joint Sunday edition, Mid-Valley Sunday, with the Albany Democrat-Herald.
