The face of the station is Enrico Ostendorf: Berlin-born (21 October 1979), 90s radio moderator, and since 1998 the host of the weekly "Enrico Ostendorf In The Mix" — broadcast in parallel on 54 FM stations across Europe, with over a million listeners in the average hour — the 54 stations' simulcast, the million's average hour, the mix-show's European reach — the 1998's historic launch, the 2021's count, the Europe's dancefloor. History

The station launched on 11 November 2011 as Megaradio Bayern — first in the statewide Bavarian DAB multiplex 12D (until 1 September 2013), then in the local multiplexes Augsburg 9C, Nuremberg 10C, Ingolstadt 11A and Munich 11C, plus Hamburg 11C — the 2011's Bavarian launch, the 12D's statewide phase, the local multiplexes' chapter — the launch's 11 November, the phase's two statewide years, the chapter's locals.
