History

Oldie Antenne began as the webstream "Antenne Bayern – Oldies but Goldies" — the moderated web radio recorded over 1.2 million streaming sessions per month in 2021 — the Webstream's 2021, the 1,2 Millionen's monthly Streamingabrufe, the moderierte Webradio's success. The Antenne Bayern group took this success as the occasion to continue the web offering under a new name as Oldie Antenne — and received the nationwide media-law licence — the Erfolg's Anlass, the neuen Namens's Oldie Antenne, the bundesweiten medienrechtlichen Zulassung's licence. On 1 February 2022 Oldie Antenne started on DAB+ as a standalone moderated radio product in Hamburg, North Rhine-Westphalia and the Saarland; Hessen followed in March 2022 — four states with a potential digital reach of around 27 million inhabitants — the 1 February 2022's historic Start, the selbstständig moderierten's product, the 27 Millionen's reach. In April 2022 Bremen and Saxony followed, in June Lower Saxony and Schleswig-Holstein — the April's Bremen and Sachsen, the June's Niedersachsen and Schleswig-Holstein, the successful expansion's eight states.
