The elaborately researched, critical stories address the mobility enthusiasts and mobility managers, the Mobilitätsbegeisterte und -manager the publisher's release names.

The association-magazine function gives the title its institutional readership: the BEM members receiving the magazine within the membership fee, and the Swiss ECS members' reduced subscription. The electromobility association's long-term mission, the mobility conversion with renewable energies, aligns with the magazine's editorial agenda.

The HUSS-VERLAG's B2B publishing infrastructure supports the magazine: the modern B2B publisher supplying the logistics, tourism, transport, and passenger-transport industries' specialists and managers with products, practice, and background knowledge. The six-times-yearly rhythm's longer production cycles give the future-topic features the research depth.

History

The 2017 Forum ElektroMobilität congress partnership documented the magazine's early industry integration: the June 2017 Berlin congress with VISION mobility as media partner, and the May issue's presentation of the forum and the Bender-Ensto Chago charging-controller cooperation project. The forum members' content-presentation opportunity built the editorial pipeline.

The publisher's 1975 founding story illuminates the house: the 1 April 1975 start in the Friedrichstraße 17 old-building apartment with two employees and the founder's wife Karin, the "Wie weit ab München" book project with the Verkehrsverlag Jakob Fischer, and the September 1975 IAA Frankfurt debut beside Daimler-Benz and MAN. The 1986 move to the own publishing building with printing plant at the Joseph-Dollinger-Bogen anchored the Munich base.

The 2025 jubilee marked the 50-year milestone: the mid-sized B2B media house's leading position in the German-speaking logistics, transport, and mobility publishing. The founder's 2025 death closed the founding generation; the Christoph Huss publisher generation continues the house.

The VISION mobility launch placed the HUSS-VERLAG in the electromobility journalism: the newly initiated format uniting the three major future topics mobility, connectivity, and infrastructure. The magazine's goal is explaining, evaluating, and critically questioning the topic complexes, with the contents cross-industry and cross-transport-mode.

The BEM membership anchored the magazine in the electromobility association: on the tenth anniversary of the Bundesverband eMobilität, the HUSS-VERLAG joined the Berlin-based association and began supplying the members with VISION mobility. The BEM works long-term to convert mobility in Germany to electromobility with renewable energies.

The Forum ElektroMobilität e.V. membership extended the industry connection: the HUSS-VERLAG joined with the newly initiated format, with the editor-in-chief Gregor Soller praising the forum's platform. The magazine appeared as media partner at the forum's congress in Berlin, and the forum regularly places contributions in VISION mobility.

The HUSS-VERLAG's 50-year history frames the magazine: founded 1 April 1975 by Wolfgang Huss in a Munich old-building apartment, the publisher grew to around 75 employees and the leading mid-sized B2B media house for logistics, transport, and mobility. The founder Wolfgang Huss died in 2025.

Coverage and Content

The commercial-vehicle electromobility journalism addresses the transport industry: the electric trucks, the electric buses, and the logistics fleets' electrification. The IAA Transportation fair presence connects the magazine to the international commercial-vehicle and transport industry.

The municipal mobility journalism serves the cities and municipalities: the sustainable solutions for transport, the public-transport electrification, and the urban charging infrastructure. The new mobility and logistics concepts the magazine covers include the companies' and municipalities' transition strategies.

The energy-system journalism tracks the renewable-energies integration: the charging infrastructure's grid connection, the energy storage, and the sector coupling. The BEM's mission, the mobility conversion with the use of renewable energies, frames the energy coverage.

The critical-questioning editorial stance distinguishes the magazine: the explaining, evaluating, and critically questioning the topic complexes, the erklären, zu bewerten und kritisch zu hinterfragen the publisher's release records. The high-quality partner contributions bring the industry's insights and backgrounds to the main topics.

VISION mobility covers the mobility transition's full spectrum: the electromobility's vehicle developments, the connectivity's digital networking, and the infrastructure's charging and energy systems. The contents are industry- and transport-mode-spanning, supplemented by high-quality partner contributions.

The electromobility journalism addresses the electric vehicles: the passenger cars, the commercial vehicles, and the charging infrastructure. The connectivity coverage tracks the digitalization and increasing networking's structural change in mobility. The infrastructure journalism covers the communication and infrastructure changes the transition requires.

The "BEST OF mobility" readers' choice gives the magazine its industry award: the 2025 edition with Deloitte and the IAA Mobility drew around 32,000 votes, honoring innovative solutions in e-mobility, connectivity, and infrastructure. The sustainable mobility solutions for transport, all transport modes, and companies and municipalities form the editorial focus.
